The Library will be closed Saturday, July 2 through Monday, July 4 for the Fourth of July Holiday. TCPL will reopen on Tuesday, July 5 at 10 AM.

The 36th Annual Liberty 5K, 10K & 1 Mile Fun Run is a family event, for participants of all ages! Bring the whole family and start your holiday off on the right foot. Runners and walkers of all abilities are encouraged to participate! The 1 Mile Fun Run and the 5K and 10K races are at Stewart Creek Park, 3700 Sparks Rd. The Colony, TX 75056. Please arrive early to ensure that you are ready for the start of the race! We recommend that all runners and walkers be parked and in the race area no later than 7:15am. Onsite parking will close at 7:15am to ensure that the course is clear and ready for the 1Mile race. Race Start Times The 1 Mile Fun Run begins at 7:30am. The 5K and 10K races begin at 7:50am. Walking Walkers are encouraged to participate in the 5K. The 10K is not intended for those who are looking to participate at a relaxed pace. For the safety of others, participants in the 10K must be able to maintain a 15 minute/mile pace.

Join us for a weekend of family fun as we celebrate the birth of America’s freedom at the 25th Annual Liberty By The Lake festival. That evening we finish the festivities with concert, food vendors, rides and the best Fireworks around! Don’t miss the fun!
