#InTheField with Water Meter TechsOur Communications staff recently rode out with the city's water-meter technicians to share info about meter-reading as well as everything else they do to maintain and repair the city's meters. Providing quality customer service is their No. 1 goal, in addition to educating residents on the ins-and-outs of water usage - especially this time of year.

Urban wildlife: Don't feed the coyotesIn order to minimize the chances of close-contact encounters between residents and urban coyotes, the city wishes to remind residents of the importance of discouraging urban wildlife from becoming too comfortable around humans. As always, we encourage residents to be cautious of coyotes and other forms of urban wildlife. According to Texas Parks & Wildlife, coyotes live with and among people in all urban areas in Texas, including The Colony. Coyotes typically avoid people - and that's how it should be. Please visit our website for more information.
