Spring Eggstravaganza coming soonOne of the most EGGciting events in The Colony is back! Watch your kids have a ball as they gather eggs filled with an assortment of candy and prizes during our annual Spring Eggstravaganza, set for Thursday, April 6, at The Colony Five Star Complex. Peter Rabbit is hoppin’ into town, too – get your photo taken with him as a keepsake and create an Easter-themed craft. Don't forget to stop by the entertainment zone to ride the giant slide and Big Tex Express Train. Play some giant lawn games and interact with the animals in the petting zoo. Tickets are only required for the egg-hunt portion of the event. All other activities are free of charge. Visit the event website to get your tickets today! Call Parks & Recreation at 972-625-1106 for more information.

PARD, Public Works crews respond to stormsWe wanted to give a shout-out to some of our hardworking team members who responded to the severe weather event earlier this month, in which high wind speeds battered the DFW. When North Texas storms have passed, most of us breathe a sigh of relief and get on with our evenings, but these folks from Public Works and Parks & Recreation get in their trucks and get to work clearing debris from roadways and green spaces. Thanks for all you do! Top left photo, from left, Parks Maintenance staffers Shane, Aaron, Sarah and Tim. Not pictured is David. Top right photo, from left, Public Works staffers Wesley, Gene, Greg, Anthony, Ron, and Mark.
