Lake levels

Shoreline clean-up efforts coming soon

In the coming weeks we anticipate that water levels on Lewisville Lake will begin to recede. As the water levels go down there will be a tremendous amount of cleanup needed at our lake parks and trails along the lake. Soon, The Colony Parks & Recreation Department will be putting out a call for volunteers to help with the cleanup, in an attempt to get these areas usable as quickly as possible. Though it is too early to pinpoint any cleanup dates just yet, Parks and Recreation staff are beginning to gather contact info for volunteers who would like to assist in the cleanup process. Click the photo to sign up and be notified if you'd like to help!
