Annual park passes now available

Annual passes for Stewart Creek Park are now available! The new kiosk and gate entry system for the park went live last month. Passes can be purchased at The Colony Recreation Center, 5151 North Colony Blvd., during business hours. Passes are also available for purchase through the kiosk system at the park itself. Annual passes are $40 for The Colony residents and $75 for non-residents. Please bring proof of residency (drivers license or water bill) when you purchase your pass. Annual passes are now valid for one year from the date of purchase. The new passes are in the form of a key card that will be swiped at the kiosk each time you visit the park to raise the entrance gate. • The City of The Colony is currently accepting applications for city boards. Board members are appointed by the City Council to serve in a volunteer capacity. Applications for board positions will be accepted in the City Secretary’s Office for terms beginning July 1, 2021. Information on the boards and the application form are available on the city’s website or by contacting the City Secretary’s Office at 6800 Main Street, The Colony, Texas 75056, or via phone at 972-624-3105.
• The Colony EDC wishes to remind local businesses that the application process for the Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) is underway. The RRF has been established to provide funding to help restaurants and other eligible businesses keep their doors open. This program will provide restaurants with funding equal to their pandemic-related revenue loss up to $10 million per business and no more than $5 million per physical location.
