Pets must be on a leash at all times

Many residents have been incorporating more time outdoors as part of their activities recently. Everyone should feel safe walking the streets of their neighborhood with their families, including pets and children.

Unfortunately, The Colony Animal Services receives regular reports of residents disobeying state and local laws by walking their pets without leashes. This is resulting in an unfortunate increase in dog-on-dog attacks throughout the community.

The LPGA returns to The Colony Nov. 30-Dec. 6

2019 VOA Classic Winner

Tournament organizers alongside the LPGA have announced that the Volunteers of America Classic LPGA event will now take place Nov. 30–Dec. 6, 2020 in The Colony. The event was originally scheduled for Sept. 28–Oct. 4.

Players will be vying for a $1.75 million purse, a significant increase from the previous $1.3 million purse.
