Christmas holiday closures

City offices & facilities will be closed Friday, Dec. 23, and Monday, Dec. 26, for Christmas. The library will be closed Dec. 23-26. There will be no delays to trash/recycling collection due to the holidays.

Reward offered for information leading to return of stolen items

The City of The Colony is seeking information leading to the return of items recently stolen from The Colony Five Star Complex - most of which were fixtures in the city's Veterans Memorial. Tipsters should contact the number on the flyer below.

The reward has increased twice thanks to matching donations from the local 24 Sports organization and The Colony Community Development Corp. board of directors.

Trash/recycling collected as normal most holidays

Did you know? As part of the city's renewed contract with Republic Services, trash and recycling collection is only delayed during three holidays in the year: New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Trash and recycling will be collected as normal (with no delays) during all other annual holidays.
