The Paige Road pedestrian crossing near Yager Drive has been completed and is fully operational. The crosswalk will work much the same as the one on North Colony near Pruitt Drive.
The light will be dark until a pedestrian activates the signal. After activation, the light will flash yellow, change to steady yellow and then go to a steady red. The signal will then change to flashing red for vehicles while pedestrians cross the street.
After the pedestrian crosses and the controller times out, the light will then turn off and return to dark.
This crosswalk will primarily enable safer crossing of Paige for students attending Griffin Middle or Morningside Elementary schools. Please drive safe!
