Starting Saturday, April 11, bulk and green waste collection will be moved from Mondays to Saturdays for the duration of April. There will be no bulk/green waste collection on Monday, April 6.
This change has been made to account for the increased volume of trash collection taking place as many residents are home more often because of the "Stay at Home" orders. The new schedule will be as follows:
- Regular trash and recycle pick-up days remains unchanged;
- If your regular trash day is Tuesday or Wednesday, bulk pick-up will be April 11 and April 25;
- If your regular trash day is Thursday or Friday, bulk pick-up will be April 18 and May 2; and,
- Green waste will be shifting from Mondays to Saturdays beginning April 11.
This schedule will be evaluated for continuation based on pandemic status at the end of April 2020.
