StayAtHome-spotlight

We understand there's been a lot of information coming at you in recent days and weeks. Response to the COVID-19 situation is evolving quickly, to say the least. It can be hard to keep up.

Please see the graphic below for a quick look at what the "Stay at Home" orders mean for you and your family. The latest order from the Governor’s Office was issued March 31, applies throughout the entire state, and lasts until at least April 30. The Orders from the Denton County Commissioners Court were updated March 31 are currently last through April 7, at which time the Court will meet again that day to consider an extension. The local declaration from The Colony City Council lasts through April 22 and will also be considered for extension.

The Texas Department of Emergency Management has created a website for businesses seeking guidance on their status as essential vs. non-essential. Denton County has also issued a one-page informational flyer with additional details for businesses and residents. Information about the overall response, as well as closures of city facilities and suspension of programs, etc., is available at www.TheColonyTx.gov/covid19.
