[ARCHIVED] DCPH: Plan ahead, be ready for COVID-19 (updated 3-10-20)

According to Denton County Public Health, creating a household plan can help protect your health and the health of those you care about in the event of a COVID19 outbreak in your community.

As such, Denton County Public Health recommends adhering to the following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:

Note regarding facemasks: Wear a facemask if you are sick. If you are NOT sick, you do not need to wear a facemask unless you are caring for someone who is sick (and they are not able to wear a facemask). Facemasks may be in short supply and they should be saved for caregivers, first-responders, and medical professionals.
