[ARCHIVED] Safety First: High lake levels force closures (06/17/19)

Shoreline Trail June 2019

Heavy rains have resulted in high water levels on Lewisville Lake. In the interests of safety, the Stewart Creek Park courtesy dock remains closed. The boat ramp, Shoreline Trail, and fishing pier, however, have reopened.

Anyone using the trail is urged to use caution as the flooding has caused a significant amount of damage that will likely takes weeks or months to repair.

Also, please use caution along the shoreline at Stewart Creek Park due to potential underwater hazards. Guests who do not abide by these rules will be asked to leave the park. No refunds will be issued. We appreciate everyone's understanding and cooperation!
