[ARCHIVED] Tree recycling yields free compost for residents

Tree recycling compost

Thanks to the city’s annual Christmas tree recycling initiative, FREE compost is now available to residents in the southwest corner of the Public Works parking lot off East Lake Highlands Drive, next to the dog park.

Signage is posted in the vicinity directing residents to the site. Compost is available on a first-come, first-served basis. You MUST bring your own containers. This service is for RESIDENTS ONLY. No commercial uses or contractors allowed. For information, call Environmental Services at 972-624-3131.
