[ARCHIVED] UPDATE: Volunteers sought for Shoreline Trail clean-up

Due to the weather forecast for very wet conditions, the Shoreline Trail clean-up project originally scheduled for Dec. 8 has been postponed. Organizers will try again for 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 15.

Volunteer registration is still available online. For more information, contact Parks & Recreation at 972-625-1106.

ORIGINAL POST: We need your help! A lot of trash and debris was left behind along the Shoreline Trail after recent flood waters receded on Lewisville Lake.

We are in need of volunteer help to clean up the trail to get it looking nice again. The clean-up event is from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 8, at two locations - Stewart Creek Park and Ridgepointe Park. Sign-up here! Call Parks & Recreation for more information at 972-625-1106.
