Tips for reducing 'slippery' feeling of soft water from ground wells

Simply put, when it comes to soap products, less is more!

  • Hard water, which is typically surface water that comes from lakes, is high in certain minerals that inhibit body wash, dish soaps, and detergents from working as they should, which means we have to use more product for it to work the way we want.
  • With soft water, which comes from the city’s ground wells and is high in different minerals, it’s recommended that you cut back to using 1/2 to 1/3 of the products for activities mentioned above. If you’re used to using large amounts of soap to compensate for the effects of hard water, you’re using too much and making things slippery or giving the feeling it’s not rinsing off.
