[ARCHIVED] Lagoon Pool closed indefinitely for repairs

AP Lagoon Pool

The outdoor lagoon pool at The Colony Aquatic Park is currently closed for maintenance and repairs.

Community Services Director Jackie Kopsa said they had hoped the lagoon pool would be reopening sooner than later following the initial assessments, but has since learned that repairs will be extensive, requiring an indefinite closure as of now.

“We are doing our best to get back in operation as soon as possible,” Kopsa said, while reminding residents that all other areas at the Aquatic Park are still operational and functioning under normal operating hours.

The City apologizes in advance for any inconvenience, and will notify residents on the city’s website, and social media channels when the necessary repairs are completed and the pool has reopened.

For more information, contact the Aquatic Park at 972-624-2225.
