[ARCHIVED] Annual Coach Cox's Kid Chase April 23 at Stewart Creek Park

The Colony Parks and Recreation Department and The Colony Roadrunners Club present the 21st annual Coach Cox's Kids Chase on Saturday, April 23, at Stewart Creek Park (3700 Sparks Road).

Children ages 9 and under will compete in a half-mile race, while children ages 10-12 run a 1-mile course. All participants will receive a ribbon and goody bag. Race t-shirts are guaranteed to the first 250 registered participants.

The races will begin promptly at 8 a.m. We recommend that ALL participants arrive at Stewart Creek Park no later than 7:30 a.m. Vehicle access to the park will be closed at 7:45 a.m. There will be an organized warm-up for all participants at 7:30 a.m. Results will be calculated and presented as soon as possible following the conclusion of the last race.

Packet pick up will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 21, and Friday, April 22, at The Colony Recreation Center, 5151 North Colony Blvd. Any packets not picked up will be available on race day for pickup. For more information, call The Colony Parks & Recreation at 972-625-1106.
