TCPD_Patch

On Friday morning, Nov. 12, 2021, School Resource Officers (SRO) with The Colony Police Department assigned to The Colony High School received information regarding a current student that made threats on social media to harm people at the school.

An SRO immediately began an investigation into the incident, during which the high school was placed in a “hold status” in order to assist with locating the suspect. The hold lasted no longer than 10 minutes. The suspect was located a short time later, and taken into police custody. Criminal charges are pending.

We want to make it known that there was no weapon located. We do not believe there is any further threat or danger to any person at the high school.
