    Create your own optical illusions and crafts at the library. Family Fun Saturday programs are open to children and their families.     Toddler Time is a fun, free, and social way for the very young to participate in early literacy learning using stories, puppets, poems, and songs. This story time is held Tuesdays from 10:15 - 10:35 a.m. in the Study Center at The Colony Public Library. No registration required.

  4. Paws For Reading

    Practice your reading skills by reading to Toby the dog at the Library! Open to children in grades K-5, this program helps encourage readers by providing them with an individual reading session with Toby.

    Space is limited and sessions are 20 minutes each. Toby is at the Library from 2 – 4 p.m. on Tuesday afternoons. To register, email Jacquelyn Yu, Youth Services Librarian.

    Come to TCPL for all things Pokémon! Pokémon League is held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on the last Wednesday of each month. Play Pokémon Go, the trading card game, or the video games on your Nintendo 3DS! This officially sanctioned league event is targeted for Middle School & High School ages, but is open to all. Meet, trade with, and battle other trainers! Children under 9 years old must be accompanied at all times by a caregiver age 12 or older. This program is sponsored by FOTCPL.

    The Colony Parks and Recreation is proud to present The Colony Summer Clubhouse, a three-month summer event series for kids. Children of all ages are invited to The Colony Recreation Center; doors open at 9am with the show starting at 10am, so come early to get a good seat! June 29th - Wildlife on the Move - Boas vs. Pythons. There is much more to this fascinating group of snakes than what we get from many mythical tales. Now you can learn the rest of the story. Meet some of the smaller and gentler members of this family - from Africa, Australia, North America, South America, and southeast Asia. You may never think of them as man-eaters again!
