    Grown Up Games: Adult Field Day
    Join us for some good old fashioned FUN! Adult teams of 4-6 players will compete in field day style events. Players must be 21 years of age and older. This new event will feature some exciting games like never before seen or played in The Colony! Want to find out what kind of exciting games and activities we have planned? The only way to find out is to sign up!! Additional points awarded based on when you register, so register early!!!

    Birds of prey descend on The Colony
    Hawks, owls, and other aerial assassins will glide through The Colony starting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, during a presentation by the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center. The program is sponsored by your Keep The Colony Beautiful Board (KTCB) and will be held at the City Hall Annex, 6804 Main St., next door to City Hall. Doors open at 6 p.m. Ample parking will be available. Admission is free but registration is required.

    Red Bull Soapbox Race in Austin Ranch
    Red Bull Soapbox Race is an international event in which amateur drivers race homemade soapbox vehicles. Each hand-made machine is fueled by nothing but sheer courage, the force of gravity and perhaps a little Red Bull. This unique, non-motorized racing event challenges both experienced racers and amateurs alike to design and build outrageous soapbox dream machines and compete against the clock in a downhill race. Teams are judged on speed, creativity and showmanship.
