Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program
Benefits of this program may include: reduced pain and stiffness, restored/maintained range of motion, improved balance/coordination, and decreased fatigue/increased endurance. This class may be done from a chair. Be prepared to laugh and have fun as you increase your fitness level.

Cardio Drumming
Cardio drumming takes a simple movement - drumming - and turns it into a full-body workout that will leave you smiling, sweating, and feeling great. Using the exercise ball and the floor as your drum, and mixing in fun moves, cardio drumming turns keeping a rhythm into a workout you won’t want to stop.

Chair Volleyball
Monday - Wednesday - Friday
10:45am - 11:45am
Feel like a kid again! This no-impact game is played seated on a small court with a beach ball. If you can sit in a chair, reach a little higher than your head, love to laugh and have fun, you can play this game.
Fitness Center
6:30am - 9:00pm Monday - Friday
8:30am - 6:00pm Saturday
Located inside the Recreation Center, the Fitness Center is included with your membership to the Community Center. Some of the most popular equipment is the treadmill and elliptical machines.
Line Dance
Choose which class is right for you. If you love line dancing, attend all three.
Beginner Class
10:00 - 11:30am Monday
This fast growing class focuses on easier to learn basic dances and is a great form of aerobic exercise.
Intermediate Class
1:00 - 2:30pm Thursday
While open to beginners, the emphasis of this class is more intricate line dances.
Advanced Class
10:00 - 11:30am Friday
Experienced line dancers get a chance to practice and learn intricate steps and dances. Challenge yourself!
Tai Chi
Designed especially for those with Arthritis, this Tai Chi is slow, gentle movements geared toward improving movement and balance. Any member wishing to improve range of motion and/or balance is welcome to attend.
Beginner Class
12:30 - 1:15pm Monday & Wednesday
Intermediate Class
1:00 - 2:00pm Monday & Wednesday
Video Class
1:00 - 2:00pm Friday
This class utilizes the video Tai Chi for Arthritis by Dr. Paul Lam, creator of this form of Tai Chi.
Walk Strong
10:00 - 10:45am M-W-F
This class is recommended for beginning to intermediate level aerobic activity. Walk Strong is done indoors to video and is equivalent of walking two miles and includes stretching/toning and using bands for resistance exercise.
Yoga in a Chair
If you have overlooked yoga because you feel intimidated by the postures you see on the cover of magazines, you might be surprised to learn all the benefits of chair yoga!
Yoga has been shown to improve overall health.
This gentle stretch and strengthen video class is done in a chair or standing.
