The Colony Parks and Recreation Department requires that all parade entries incorporate this year’s theme of "Stars and Stripes Forever, Celebrating the 50 States!" Parade lineup will be held at Peter’s Colony Elementary School on John Yates. All entries should check in with the parade coordinator.
The awards presentation for the parade will take place immediately following the parade in The Colony High School Parking Lot. Entries that show exceptional patriotic spirit and support the parade theme will be awarded trophies and prizes. Trophies will be given to 1st - 3rd in both categories (Commercial and Non-Commercial). In addition to trophies, cash prizes will be awarded as follows: 1st Place (each category) $75, 2nd Place (each category) $25, Best Overall $100. Good luck!
Entry forms (PDF) can be submitted to the Parks and Recreation Department. Day-of registration will be accepted at parade check-in. Pre-registration is highly encouraged.
The parade route will start at Peters Colony Elementary School and head West along Nash Dr. Then the parade will turn South on Blair Oaks. It will finish at The Colony Five Star Complex North Parking Lot.
