Refunds, Credits & Transfers

No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations requested less than 48 hours (by 5:00pm) prior to the program start date. Cancellations requested one week or more in advance of the program start date can be credited to family account for a full credit, or refunded minus 20% of the fees paid. Cancellations requested less than one week but more than 48 hours (by 5:00pm) prior to the program start date can be refunded minus 50%. Refunds for PARD operated athletic leagues will not be considered after teams or schedules have been formed. Medical refunds will be granted at a prorated amount for the portion of the program missed if a doctor's note is provided. The amount is prorated based on the date that PARD is notified, regardless of when the injury occurred. Programs cancelled by PARD will result in the patron's choice of full refund, transfer, or credit to their family account. Certain programs may have additional limits to their refund policies.

Kidz Kamp Refund Policy: Refunds must be requested at least 7 days before the start of the session. Refunds requested less than one week before the start of the session will not be granted. Refunds requested between 7 and 13 days before the start of the session will be granted, minus 50% of the price of the session. Refunds requested 14 or more days before the start of the session will be granted, minus 20% of the price of the session.

Registration Fees

Fees for all Parks and Recreation programs and activities must be paid at the time of registration. There will be ongoing registration throughout the year for all programs until a particular class or activity has met its maximum enrollment or a particular registration deadline has passed. Ongoing program registration by returning students for the next class session should be done by the last class of the previous session in order to ensure a spot in the next class session. For ongoing programs, a $10 per student late fee will be applied if the monthly tuition is not paid by the 15th of each month. An additional $10 late fee will be applied if payment is not received by the Monday prior to the last Friday of the month. Participation in class will not be allowed until past due balances are paid off.

Waiting Lists

If a course is full, you may ask to have your name placed on the waiting list for that program. If a cancellation occurs, the staff will notify the first person on the waiting list and offer them a chance to register for the program at that time. Payment for the program will be required at the time of registration. If you are contacted from a wait list and enrolled for that program, you will be removed from any wait lists for similar courses. Along with being added to a waiting list, we strongly suggest that patrons register for their second choice because it is not likely that programs which are full will have cancellations. Certain programs may have additional limits, and/or restrictions to their wait list procedures.
