Overview

All meetings of the City Council are open to the public. You can view the upcoming Council meeting agenda and you can watch Council meetings live on Time Warner Cable government access Channel 16 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99, as well as on this website. 

To speak in support or opposition to an item scheduled on the Council agenda, a Citizen Input form located at the entrance of the Council Chambers must be completed prior to the Council addressing the item. Individuals who do not want to speak on an issue, but wish to register their support or opposition may also submit a form. Each name will be read into the record by the Mayor.

The City of The Colony is a Home Rule municipality with a council-manager form of government. The City Council is made up of a mayor and six council members. To contact any city council member, please call 972-624-3199.
