Additional duties include:
The HR Department administers the employee benefits program, worker's compensation, employee compensation / classification, employee relations, training and policy development.
The HR Department monitors compliance with Federal and State laws and City policies regarding Human Resource issues.
The HR Department works as a partner with management staff providing advice, support, and recommendations to effectively utilize and manage the City's employee workforce.
