Senior Citizens of The Colony

The Senior Citizens of The Colony are part of the Community Center, a gathering place where active adults age 50 and over come together for services and activities that enhance quality of life, respond to diverse needs and interests, support independence, and encourage involvement within the Center and community to promote active and healthy aging. These activities include food drives, scholarships to local students, crocheted donations to VA, hospitals, Red Cross, and hospice; donations to service members, Christmas Angel project for elderly needy, and craft donations to nursing/memory care facilities.

Any member of The Colony Community Center is eligible to participate in Senior Citizen of The Colony activities. The Colony and area residents ages 50 and older are encouraged to visit the Community Center and participate in the activities.


Donations to Senior Citizens of The Colony are always gratefully accepted. You may specify a donation to be used for one of our activities. If no specific activity is noted, the donation will go into the general fund to support whichever activity is in need. Donations may be made to:
