Phase IIID: Taylor Street Re-construction Project
This project includes removing and replacing the damaged sub-grade and concrete pavement and existing damaged concrete curb and gutter at various locations along Taylor Street between the intersection with North Colony Boulevard to the intersection with Squires Drive. After these repairs have been made, the concrete roadway surface will be milled down 1-inch and a 2-inch thick asphalt pavement overlay will be installed along roadway. Update:
- The contractor has completed milling the concrete street.
- The asphalt will be placed the first week of August.
- Removal and replacement of sidewalks is complete.
- Construction will be substantially complete before school starts back in the fall. This construction period was chosen to minimize impacts on the traffic flow to and from BB Owens Elementary School.
- The construction project was bid in April 2010 and City Council Approved the Contractor in May 2010.
- A public information meeting was held in May 2010.
- Final engineering plans were completed in April 2010.

North Colony Boulevard Widening Project
On October 20, 2009, the City Council authorized design of the North Colony Boulevard widening project by Halff Associates, Inc. The widening project consists of a four lane divided roadway with auxiliary left and right turn lanes and trail from Curry Drive to Paige Road. Other improvements that will be constructed with this project include drainage, water, wastewater, streetscape, traffic signals, sidewalk repair, slip-road repair, and new street lights.
Construction activities are anticipated to start in October 2010 and be substantially complete by March 2012. The budget for construction of this project is $6.8 million.

STEWART CREEK PARK PAVEMENT RESURFACING
On May 18, 2010, the City Council authorized
the resurfacing of the roadways and parking lots within Stewart Creek Park. The work consisted of making necessary base repairs and overlaying the roadways and parking lots with hot mix asphalt .

- Construction began on May 26, 2010 and was completed on June 25, 2010.
- The boat trailer parking area stripping is complete.
LEBANON ROAD DRAINAGE REPAIRS

- Tunnel repairs and the pavement lifting have been completed.
- Drainage from Boyd Road is complete.
